Rank Foundation
The Rank Foundations initial investment in a Key Workers Post in January 2003 has had a massive impact on the project.
Since then the help and support from the foundation coupled with Rank Seminars has helped our project go from strength to strength.
From September 2004 Rank has provided 5 years investment for our Youth Development Worker to undergo a BA in Informal & Community Education at The YMCA George Williams College. Through distance learning whilst still working for the project.
A young person from our project was given the opportunity to attend
a Sailing Adventure around part of the British Coast as part of
a Rank Foundation Bursary. "I'd like to thank the Rank Foundation
for making this possible. I had a fantastic time once I got over
the sea sickness. I had a great time". we are hoping to have
the chance to utilise these wonderful opportunities again.
Other schemes that The Rank Foundation offer include a Gapper Scheme and Work Experience Programme. Our project has been unable to take advantage of these schemes to date, however we are always on the look out for suitable candidates.
A previous beneficiary of the Rank Foundation, Piers Mudd, wanted
to give something back to the Foundation. He was given our details
and has cycled across Central America raising money for our project.

Finally we would like to sincerely thank Chris Dunning his colleagues and the board of trustees at The Rank Foundation for supporting our project in such a strong and positive way.
