ECYH Trust more recently has carried
out various jobs for community groups. As the project has grown so has
the size of the community works that we can undertake.
Such works give the young people the opportunity to counter
negative stereotypes, demonstrate their abilities, and make a positive
contribution to their communities, while learning how to relate to
older people on village hall committees etc. The older people develop a
great deal of respect for the hard work and real commitment of the
young people involved.
Bridging this divide between different groups of people is an
exciting part of our work.
