Duke of York’s Community Initiative Award – St James’s Palace, London

9/5/2017

After our trip to Huddersfield earlier in the year, our travels took us to St James’s Palace to meet with Prince Andrew himself. The Duke of York’s Community Initiative is a Royal Award presented to community projects based in Yorkshire. The Crown housing renovation was recognised as a well-run, inspirational and valued project to the community of Brotton and area of East Cleveland. Unfortunately, we managed little more a passing hello with Prince Andrew before he was whisked off. The events of the day and memorable night in the city were certainly something we will remember for some time.
