Training
ECYHT renovates and refurbishes empty properties and community buildings, achieved through working with young people from East Cleveland. The residential properties are then rented by young people in the local community who have the opportunity to live in affordable and high-quality homes.
Our project also undertakes building works for community and voluntary organisations in the local area; such as renovating village halls and sports clubs. During their time with ECYHT, young people have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in various building trades, e.g. plumbing and joinery. The project also offers opportunities for personal development in a supportive and friendly environment.
All of the courses we offer aim to build confidence and experience and as we work closely with a variety of training providers & colleges, we can ensure that our team have access to a wide variety of learning experiences.
