Saltburn Scout Hut had a grassy area to the front of the building which was not utilized.
Comments: The Trust were awarded a Local Authority contract to complete pointing on a huge retaining wall at Loftus Youth & Community Centre. Surprisingly, the wintery weather was extremely kind to us and held up for the duration of the work.
Comments: The team were invited to decorate the exterior of the club house tower. Despite the generous offer, a mixture of choppy waters, sea sickness and schools of children kept us from having our very own reservoir adventure.

The finished meeting room at Loftus Town Hall, little did anyone know it held a secret.
Saltburn Allotments provided the next community works for the Trust. Kieran, Taylor and Craig made a start turning the soil in preparation for installing raised beds which they have constructed.
At Marske Methodist Hall, ECYH replaced guttering and downpipes. Some pointing between the bricks was also requested
Hinderwell Parish Hall asked ECYH to update the décor of some of the Town Hall’s rooms. This photo shows some of the intricate work on the large windows.
Account Manager Ben Toms visited the Crown and presented the Trust with a sizable cheque. The donation was used to renovate one of the four flats within the property.
After our trip to Huddersfield earlier in the year, our travels took us to St James’s Palace to meet with Prince Andrew himself. The Duke of York’s Community Initiative is a Royal Award presented to community projects based in Yorkshire. The Crown housing renovation was recognised as a well-run, inspirational and valued project to the community of Brotton and area of East Cleveland. Unfortunately, we managed little more a passing hello with Prince Andrew before he was whisked off. The events of the day and memorable night in the city were certainly something we will remember for some time.
